Chatham 250 Kick's Off with

Founding Day

Chatham County’s 250th anniversary celebrations kicked off with Founding Day on

Saturday, April 10, 2021 in downtown Pittsboro on Hanks Street.

This drive-thru event had multiple stations that focused on history and community, with opportunities for community members to share, learn and engage.

Participants enjoyed a birthday party theme. There were goody bags, party hats, a pinata raffle, and a sweet treat for community members to take home.
